Viburnum x burkwoodii

More or less evergreen. Shining dark green leaves, rounded clusters of very fragrant flowers, pinkish ageing white. April/May. A quite beautiful shrub for it's glorious unsurpassed fragrance. Although the flowering season is relatively short, lasting only about 3 weeks, the scent coupled with the evergreen habit makes this a 'must have' shrub for any garden. The white flowers stand out against the dark green leaves.
